The Story behind chartless
I didn’t wake up one day and decide to quit.
It was slower than that. A creeping feeling that the career, the routine, the carefully constructed version of a successful life, wasn’t actually mine. After more than a decade working in financial services, I’d built something that looked good on paper. But somewhere along the way I’d stopped asking whether it was what I actually wanted.
So I left.
I’m Anthony. Born in the UK to an Irish mother and a Lebanese father, raised between cultures and never quite belonging to just one. I’m currently based in the UK, married to Gelli, who is from the Philippines. She’s easy going, endlessly supportive, and genuinely happy wherever life takes us. Chartless is my story to tell, but it’s our life we’re building, and none of this happens without her.
We’re headed to Southeast Asia. Figuring it out as we go. Documenting the places, the food, the people, and the honest reality of what happens when you trade the familiar for the unknown.
You don’t need a perfect plan. You don’t need permission. You just need to decide that the life you’ve imagined is worth more than the one you’ve settled for.
Welcome to Chartless.
